Founded in 1902, Ilford Liberal Club is a private members’ club situated in the heart of Ilford. We have no affiliation to any political party, grouping or organisation.
The Club is a family-friendly social club, run for the benefit of our members and guests, providing a welcoming, safe environment. We have a licensed bar, providing a range of ales, spirits and non-alcoholic refreshments. We also have snooker, pool and darts facilities, as well as a hall including a stage and dance floor used to host Club and private functions.
The Club is easily accessible, situated in the centre of Ilford on the corner of Balfour Road and Thorold Road, within two minutes’ walk of Ilford station and close to local transport links (train, bus). We host weekly jazz and easy listening nights every Thursday from 8.30pm. These evenings are open to members and non-members alike. Each Thursday is hosted by a local musician, with regular guest artists and an excellent band. The second half of the evening usually includes an open mic session. We also provide weekend entertainment with a range of functions, at which members and non-members alike are welcome. These include regular events such as a Burns Night supper, a charity meal in aid of MacMillan Nurses, quizzes, Remembrance Night, a Strictly Come Dancing final party and regular rock ‘n’ roll acts.

If you are a member of a charity, drama/theatre group, fitness/yoga, martial arts, dance group, book/creative writing club or any other society or club looking to hire a hall for meetings, classes, lectures etc, we have a hall for hire.
